Our goal
Prime Village serves differently abled young adults, so access is central to what we do. We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
- Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Videos are silent, can be paused, and do not autoplay for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions.
Accommodations in our programs
Applicants and Villagers can request accommodations at any point, including alternative formats, extra time, sensory-friendly settings and communication support.
